It seems that it is an unavoidable fact of life that women have been found more likely to suffer from vision related issues than men. Two thirds of visual impairments and blindness across the world occur in women. According to various eye institutes, such as the National Institutes of Health and the National Eye Institute, the reason for this is, in part, because women are prone to living longer than men.
