About Eyeglasses & Lenses
At each of our Nevada Eye Physicians' locations, we provide not only vision correction procedures but also optical solutions such as eyeglasses and contact lenses. Patients can find a full assortment of eyewear at our on-site optical shops after receiving a comprehensive visual exam to determine their appropriate prescription. Our trained eye care specialists also provide contact lenses for individuals wanting an alternative solution for vision correction. At Nevada Eye Physicians, we take great pride in providing quality, hands-on eye care that meets each patient’s needs, and we encourage individuals needing a vision correction solution to schedule a consultation today at one of our Nevada locations.
What to Expect
Before discussing options for correcting a patient's vision, it’s important to understand the issues causing eyesight problems. During the initial consultation, your physician will perform a full examination to identify conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, blurry vision, and other issues. Once the proper results have been attained, we will discuss with each patient on which option is most suitable: contacts or traditional eyeglasses. From there, the patient can visit our optical shop to choose which lens and/or frame is right for them.
Benefits and Differences
There are a great number of benefits to choosing either contacts or eyeglasses.
- Less expensive than contact lenses
- Do not exacerbate dry or sensitive eyes as contacts can
- Contacts can fall out and get lost; glasses stay put on the face
- Frames require less maintenance or special cleaning products
- Protect the eyes from a host of environmental elements
- Daily wear contact lenses
- Daily disposable contact lenses
- Bifocal contact lenses
- Astigmatism contact lenses
- Multifocal contact lenses
- Basic lenses
- HD contact lenses
"Very friendly staff. My hopes were very high and my expectations were exceeded by the end result. Our doctor was personable and professional. He supplied me with detailed explanations. "My husband underwent cataract surgery last sprint. Dr C was very patient with us and answered all of our questions and explained everything so that we understood the whole process. I have been told that I have cataracts and will need surgery soon. There is no question, I will go to Dr. Chinichian, he was everything we'd hoped for and more."- T. / Healthgrades / Aug 28, 2018
"Dr. Singh diagnosed a recurring eye condition for me and indicated that I needed to have further testing done to determine whether I had an underlying autoimmune disease. To assist me in my conversation with my primary care provider, he created a document explaining my ophthalmic diagnosis, the need for a full autoimmune workup, and a list of blood tests needed. Thanks to Dr. Singh's efforts, I am now being successfully treated for an autoimmune condition I didn't realize I had."- Anonymous / Healthgrades / Aug 27, 2018
"Dr Neibar and his staff are the greatest!"- R.S. / Google / Aug 26, 2018
