Dr. Mark Stradling specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery at Nevada Eye Physicians. He treats a number of conditions and diseases that occur in the eye by offering diagnostic testing and treatment options for his patients. With extensive experience and training, he uses innovative techniques and technology to provide effective treatments and results.
Dr. Stradling earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and Spanish in 2000 from the University of Arizona. He then attended Lake Erie/College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his medical degree. Dr. Stradling interned at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, NV as chief resident and chair-elect for the Council of Residents and Fellow. In 2007, he became the first ophthalmology resident selected into the residency program in the state of Nevada. Dr. Stradling is a clinical trainer at the Valley Hospital Ophthalmology Residency Program and serves as an adjunct professor at Touro University.
In 2008, Dr. Stradling assisted in the publishing of a scientific study to determine the efficacy of two different medications used for cataract surgery. The study received top honors from the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology/Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
