
Dr. Myint is fellowship trained in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is board certified and has been awarded a fellow status by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Myint has been actively involved in teaching reconstructive and plastic surgical techniques to residents, students, fellows, and other doctors from around the world. At Nevada Eye Physicians, Dr. Myint performs blepharoplasty procedures for his patients.
At Columbia University in New York, Dr. Myint received his undergraduate degree before obtaining his medical degree from Nova University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami, FL. After his internship training in Michigan in 1991, Dr. Myint finished his residency in ophthalmology and was accepted into one of the most prestigious fellowships in the country in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Providence and Beaumont Hospitals in Michigan with Frank Nesi, M.D. Dr. Myint was Co-Director of OculoFacial Plastic Surgery and Orbital Diseases at William Beaumont Hospital and continued to share his knowledge and expertise with prospective physicians through several roles, including:
Dr. Myint has contributed to many chapters in some of the leading textbooks in the field of plastic surgery, as well as articles in peer review journals on topics related to oculofacial plastic surgery. He has published five major textbooks in the field of oculofacial plastic surgery which has been used widely by plastic surgeons from around the globe. His new book “Nonsurgical Periorbital Rejuvenation” was released in 2015.
Dr. Myint was the past president of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
